Steve has been playing with steel for a few years now and has really moved his way up in the forging world recently with his pattern welded steel, mosaic patterns and as well he is making a ton of hand tools for other blacksmiths. That doesn't even touch on the knives he makes.

We get a little deep on some things with this episode along the lines of mental health. A good thing to keep in check especially if you're like us and always working alone.

This week on Forge Side Chat the hosers sit down with Robert Dent, the man behind Axcadmy.

Axcadmy is a business in the city of Toronto Ontario that runs classes on ax making for people of all skill levels. As young as 13 years old can attend a class and in one day learn the techniques needed to make an ax. Not only do they get to learn how to make an ax but they get to walk away with that very ax they learnt on.

With the assistance of @tobydruce the workshop has developed into an amazing business for Rob and we have all the details in the show!

Pedro is one of THE blacksmiths in Manitoba. Ask anyone about blacksmithing in the area and his name is bound to come up. Top it off with the fact that he is one heck of a conversationalist and you get a most excellent episode of what is already Canada's number one comedy podcast about blacksmithing and knife making.
