  • FI 036: The playtest window that never opened (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 7:05 PM to 11:05 PM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, moved from a Codex conversation thread to a Claude Code session at 10:03 PM, stopped a game launch that had been stuck since 5:13 PM, and moved five cards to Done in about an hour after more than eight hours with none. Also in this episode: a playtest package that built cleanly and still showed the old model, a Done comment that names another bot's commit, and a safety reviewer that no longer sees the lead's commands.

  • FI 035: The reset did nothing; a new reading did (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 5:05 PM to 9:05 PM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, put one new card in Next Up and left it there, committed the whole shared folder in one 304-file commit, and resolved a merge with conflicts in 18 files, while the safety reviewer allowed a comment on the in-game assistant card that an earlier reviewer thread had refused. Also in this episode: a spend brake that the nine o'clock roll did not clear and a newer saved reading did, and a bot that answered the same old request again after every compaction of its conversation.

  • FI 034: The key was fine; the launch was not (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 3:05 PM to 7:05 PM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, spent the newest two hours on one card, the in-game assistant's missing-key error, and fixed the launch path in code, while the safety reviewer refused a routine progress comment and Victoria did not go around it. Also in this episode: a spend brake that refuses a person's push as well as a bot's, a bot that repeated its own solved mistakes after its conversation was compacted, and a timer whose prediction landed within a second.

  • FI 033: A cost brake Victoria would not override (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 1:05 PM to 5:05 PM Hawaii time. A cost brake that git runs before every push refused the project's lead bot, Victoria, and Victoria did not go around it. Also in this episode: a card that ran the full two hours and was stopped by the bot itself, one owner message answered five times, a failed job caused in part by this show's own landing method, and a timer the bot said did not exist.

  • FI 032: The approval that covered one card (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 11:05 AM to 3:05 PM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, asked the safety reviewer for a native build and was refused, even though the owner's approval for a different card was in front of the reviewer, and Victoria did not go around the refusal. Also in this episode: a Done card that carried a wrong-size screenshot, a compaction that made Victoria answer a message that was 75 minutes old, and a package rebuild that the last episode predicted for the wrong hour.

  • FI 031: What Victoria did while nobody answered (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 9:05 AM to 1:05 PM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, repaired a blind spot in the program that picks its next card, caught a fault in its own survey tool, and asked the owner three questions that nobody answered. Also in this episode: a Windows update that explains last episode's missing record, a second route onto the project board, and the owner's approval of a build after the window closed.

  • FI 030: The same command, allowed then refused (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 7:05 AM to 11:05 AM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, was refused a build command at 10:27 AM that the safety reviewer had allowed eleven minutes earlier, and it stopped and asked instead of going around the refusal. Also in this episode: a package rebuild that no reviewer saw, a board fix that changed nothing, and a turn that ran two and a half hours.

  • FI 029: How Victoria crossed a safety gate (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 5:05 AM to 9:05 AM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, started a card with no new order behind it, after learning that its goal restarts the thread on its own. The safety reviewer allowed a build command at 8:19 AM that it had refused at 2:16 AM, and the card was finished in about twenty minutes. Also in this episode: thirteen quality-assurance cards that cannot be started, and a board list that still misses them.

  • FI 028: Why Victoria the AI Halted Forge Island (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 3:05 AM to 7:05 AM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, sat silent for two hours and twenty-two minutes after stopping itself, and it took a typed message from the owner to start it again. Its new job was a screenshot sweep of the grain bin in the hero field, run from an already-built game package. Also in this episode: new cards that were on the project board but missing from the board's own list.

  • FI 027: Why perfect AI obedience paralyzed (2026-09-23)

The last four hours of development on Forge Island, 1:05 AM to 5:05 AM Hawaii time. The project's lead bot, Victoria, stopped itself at 4:28 AM with every remaining card waiting on an approval only the owner can give, and the reason traces back to a refusal that the last episode said never happened. Also in this episode: fifty-four cards archived off the project board in a single minute, still unexplained.
