  • FI 056: The bot that coded its own tool (2026-09-25)

The Forge Island devlog for 3:05 PM to 7:05 PM Hawaii time on September 25. A scheduled capture bot collected 90 reference pictures of a published game's menus, maps and prompts for the island's menu design guide, writing its own keyboard and mouse program when the desktop remote-control tool could not be approved inside a scheduled run. Along the way it found two of the island's own background timers pausing the game, and the machine lost about 9 billion bytes of disk in two hours, mostly to a game recorder. The island team itself stayed stopped after the morning's restart, and a late push moved the next DEV rebuild to 11:15 PM.

  • FI 055: Nine commits and a ten dollar limit (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 1:05 PM to 5:05 PM Hawaii time on September 25, 2026. The shared recording account made eight recordings with no refusal, FI 054 went live on the first try, and the sales-app session shipped nine commits, four cards and a one-time push set for 9:07 PM that the spend breaker's own code says still meets two gates. The island team stayed stopped after the morning restart: the lead's session was loaded at 3:43 PM and took no turn, because a loaded session waits for a message.

  • FI 054: Ten recordings and the 61-file illusion (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 11:05 AM to 3:05 PM Hawaii time on September 25. The recording account both company podcasts share made ten recordings with no refusal, FI 053 went live on the first try, and the sales show added a tool that reads the save history of its live documents. The island's bot team stayed stopped after a morning machine restart, while three sales-show pushes moved the island's next DEV build to 7:15 PM. The episode also corrects the last one's count of the owner's messages, and explains how the show's own records tool learned GitHub's push times.

  • FI 053: AI Bots Coordinating Shared Workflows (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 9:05 AM to 1:05 PM Hawaii time on September 25. The island's bot team stayed stopped after a morning machine restart, but the recording account both company podcasts share made five recordings with no refusal, FI 052 went live on the first try, and the sales show fixed its own sign-in problem and published twice. Three new island cards arrived from chat requests: two convention-center booths and a second rodeo course. The episode also explains why every sales-show push delays the island's next DEV build, and how the show's forecast now follows each push from the check's own code.

  • FI 052: Forge Island AI Bot Team Orchestration (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 7:05 to 11:05 AM Hawaii time on September 25. No bot on the team wrote code in these four hours, and the game still worked for its player: the drone filed a card from one spoken sentence at 8:20 AM, and at 11:07 AM build 14 answered through the drone in six seconds and sent two photos to the media library. The episode explains why pushes from other apps kept moving the next rebuild of the DEV build, now forecast from the check's own code for 3:15 PM, and how the scheduled checks and this show kept running while the team stayed stopped after a clean machine restart at 6:16 AM.

  • FI 051: AI turns hate mail into hay bales (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 5:05 to 9:05 AM Hawaii time on September 25. At 8:20 AM the island's in-game drone turned one spoken sentence into card #660 on the team's board, with two pictures, the build number and the exact spot, about ten seconds after Confirm, although the speech-to-text heard "hay bale" as "hate mail". The build that ran was build 14, promoted to the playtest icon at 6:12 AM. The rest of the window was quiet: nothing restarted the bot team after a clean machine restart at 6:16 AM, and a new bill reading changed when the night's work can reach GitHub.

  • FI 050: Rolling tracks, and a card kept open (2026-09-25)

Forge Island devlog for 3:05 to 7:05 AM Hawaii time on September 25. The bots proved that the excavator's and the dozer's tracks now roll, 49 shoes on one and 40 on the other, and moved the owner's playtest icon from build 4 to build 14, which carries four drone designs, a tractor anyone can drive and a fixed trench. Ten cards reached Done and the build train passed all eleven of its builds. The helper that built the tracks kept its card open until the dirt is proven, and a clean machine restart at 6:16 AM stopped the team for the rest of the hour.

  • FI 049: Victoria’s 14-minute production rebuild (2026-09-25)

The Forge Island devlog for 9:47 PM on September 24 to 1:47 AM on September 25, Hawaii time. In 14 minutes the lead bot, Victoria, rebuilt its own production line, and the owner told it to keep going: twenty cards in progress at once, one build train that builds for everyone, and separate copies of the project for editing and for building. The newest hour brought excavator digging that leaves tooth marks, a blocked-out convention center on the bay, a GPS tablet that steers the tractor, and a passing test of filing a bug by talking to the game. Thirteen cards reached Done after 11:06 PM.

  • FI 048: AI bots paving their own desire paths (2026-09-24)

Forge Island development from 7:06 to 11:06 PM Hawaii time on September 24, 2026. In 23 minutes the bots rebuilt three parts of how they work: a build line so builds take turns, six active cards instead of one, and a fixed season for every proof picture. Seventeen cards reached Done, a crawler dozer began to dig, the owner got two clear game icons, and the team carried its work across a rewrite of the project's whole history without losing a commit.

  • FI 047: AI bots ship nine features in minutes (2026-09-24)

Forge Island development from 5:05 to 9:05 PM Hawaii time on September 24, 2026. Nine cards reached Done in 30 minutes, every card in progress at 7:05 PM was finished by 9:08 PM, and 71 waiting commits reached GitHub at 9:02 PM. The team also gave this show a constructive new host prompt, re-made five live episodes with it, and made free transcripts for 41 episodes.
