Reflect today on what holds you back from fully following Jesus. Is there something in your life that you have placed above Him? Are you clinging to earthly things that ultimately do not satisfy? Jesus’ call to Matthew is the same call He extends to you—“Follow me.” Responding to that call is the first step toward a life of true fulfillment, joy, and eternal peace.

Take time today to reflect on how much of your life is consecrated to the Lord. This doesn't mean you need to radically change your external circumstances or become a public preacher. Instead, it means bringing Jesus into everything you do, allowing Him to influence your decisions, your conversations, and your actions. Look for ways to bring your faith into your everyday life so that it becomes a natural and essential part of who you are. By doing so, you will find yourself truly "all in" with Christ, living as one of His faithful disciples.

Today, reflect on the words of those early followers of Jesus: "Who is this who even forgives sins?" Let these words inspire you to be filled with gratitude for the gift of God’s mercy. Let that gratitude deepen your sense of awe for His forgiveness in your life.

Reflect today on how well you respond to the people and situations around you. Do you recognize the pain others are going through and offer compassion? Are you able to share in others' joys without jealousy or envy? When God calls you to change or gives you a gift of grace, do you respond with openness and gratitude? Living a well-ordered life means being sensitive to God’s promptings and acting in harmony with His will.

Reflect today on anyone in your life who may resemble the widow of Nain. Who is God calling you to notice and feel compassion for? Allow your heart to be moved with empathy, and let that empathy give rise to hope in God’s healing power. As you do, offer your compassion, hope, and faith to God as a prayer for those in need.

Reflect today on the humility of the centurion. His faith led him to send others to Jesus on his behalf. Choose a saint and ask them to intercede for you before our Lord, asking for the same faith and humility as the centurion. This act of humility will move the heart of Jesus as He sees your faith.

Today, reflect on what drives your thoughts and desires. Do you focus on serving God and others, or are you more concerned with yourself? Answering these questions honestly can help you turn toward a life of selfless love, carrying the transforming cross of Christ.

Today, reflect on your own crosses. Try not to see them as burdens but as opportunities to share in Christ's Cross. Say "Yes" to your crosses, choosing to embrace them freely. Unite them with Christ's Cross, and trust that God will bring glory and grace into your life through them. Know that these "burdens" can be transformed into sources of exaltation through the power of God.

Today, focus on Jesus. Let Him be the center of your thoughts, and try to set aside judgments of others. Allow your attention on Jesus to help you see yourself and others as He does. Building this habit will guide you toward holiness.

Reflect today on which of Jesus’ teachings are hardest for you. Who comes to mind when you think about this command of love? If you struggle with this, it’s a sign of where God wants you to grow. Consider anyone you have a grievance with and think about whether you truly desire their eternal salvation. God can use you to love and forgive as He commands.
