Say "Yes" today, ready and willing for whatever comes next on this glorious journey of faith.

Reflect on Jesus' promise. Some may experience little persecution, while others face severe mistreatment, even from family. Consider past encounters with unjust treatment and reflect on your response. Were you able to forgive, set aside anger and wounded pride, and resist revenge? Did you rejoice in sharing in the sufferings Jesus endured? Pray for openness to the grace of Jesus' promise, responding to everyone with God's wisdom.

Reflect today on the inevitable difficulties in life. Some result from personal sin, while others are unjustly imposed. Focus on your own sin and trust God with challenges beyond your control. Entrust all to God—suffering, persecution, tragedy, and struggle. If God can bring about the greatest good from the brutal murder of His divine Son, He can do the same with what you offer in trust. Trust in all circumstances, and the all-powerful Lord will bring good from everything.

Reflect on the poor widow's example. Blessed with very little, she found it easier to remain detached from material wealth, giving all to God. Jesus noticed and praised her. Consider our Lord's response to your offering. If holding back, let the poor widow inspire you to daily dedicate everything to God's service in alignment with His holy will.
