If you struggle with fear, especially when it comes to evangelism and openly living your faith, spend more time reflecting on this parable and the fate of the servant who hid the coin. Commit yourself to the apostolate, dispel fear, and wholeheartedly serve God in building His Kingdom.

Reflect today on your ability to draw Jesus to yourself. You can achieve this by recognizing your need for Him. Don't hide it. Climb the metaphorical tree, allowing Jesus to see your evident desire for Him. As you express your need for Him, know that His unfailing love and mercy will compel Him to come to you and abide in the house of your soul. When He does, be prepared and willing to abandon anything that has hindered your encounter with Christ in the past.

Today, reflect on these four elements of a profound prayer life that are illustrated through the example of this blind beggar.
