Reflect on any instances in your life where you may have become somewhat obsessed with what you deemed to be someone else's sin. Hostility can manifest as passive aggression, where you outwardly present a kind demeanor but are obsessively thinking about how to condemn the person in your heart. When this occurs, you might feel justified because you believe justice must be served and you are the arbiter of that justice. However, if God is truly in control of your life, He will not lead you down the path of obsessive plotting against another. When following God's will, you will sense His inspiration to act with immediacy, calmness, joy, kindness, honesty, and freedom from anger and obsession.
