The Bible has a lot to say about the subject of forgiveness. Forgiving yourself ultimately comes from understanding God’s forgiveness. When you embrace the fact that God has forgiven you, it can lead you to forgive yourself. God’s forgiveness is primary, and therefore forgiving yourself is secondary. This sermon deals with the difference between regret and repentance and how Godly sorrow requires us to forgive ourselves and move forward in following Jesus.
