One of the most layered works of Rabindranath Tagore. It's an insightful journey into Bengali society in the early 1900s. The characters are all wildly different form each other and yet they are bound together by friendship and genuine love. I absolutely adore this novel.

A confluence of bad omens herald the coming of the Anti Christ on earth. The Omen by David Seltzer is actually a novelisation of the movie, with a lot more details incorporated into it. It's a racy, terrifying read.

My book recommendation for the day is another chilling thriller which is hands down the best one I have read.
