Video artists Marika Zappas and Trevor Lyon head to the video store and rent the Argentinian espionage thriller "El Jardín de senderos que si bifurcan" ("The Garden of Paths which Bifurcate") which takes up 96 VHS tapes.
It's a convoluted story with a Chinese spy for Germany living in England made in Argentina during World War II but depicting World War I, and it doesn't make any more sense once you realize that every scene ends with a decision point where you have to pick which tape comes next, like a video "choose your own adventure." It's also very horny.
Follow Trevor on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/@TrevorLyon95 and watch out for Marika in some of those videos!
Remember to write a letter to Forgotten Video Store if you've ever read and understood an "Animorphs" book, if you'd like to join our "Ocean's Eleven" style team on a mission to break into Alfred Hitchcock's tomb, or a third thing which is slipping my mind at the moment. What if your high school bully grew up to be a widely loved celebrity with a spotless image? That's what Lucy Liu is dealing with in the 1997 straight-to-video drama movie "America's New Sweetheart." If you had a poster of Jonathan Taylor Thomas on your bedroom wall, this is the movie for you!
