Former Alabama Linebacker Marvin Constant Speaks About His Career

Marvin Constant talks about his career in Tuscaloosa. Marvin was a dominant linebacker in his first season in 1999 earning him All-SEC Freshman selection. Constant epitomized what the game of football represents in the way he played the game. Marvin was a physical linebacker that could run sideline to sideline.
He was a strong linebacker that could bench well over 450 pounds back in his playing days and is best known for his goal line tackle in 1999 against LSU in Tuscaloosa. The tackle ended the game in Bryant-Denny Stadium to give the Crimson Tide the 23-17. 
The tackle would cost Constant his atheltic career as he was injured on the play. However, being the competitor that Marvin was he perserveed and went to tackle the game of life.
He wrote a book called "A Man Who Bleeds Crimson". Marvin is a class act and shows that the game of football teahces more than just sports.
