Pastor Kipko discusses the neglect of duties by the priests in Malachi's time, comparing it to the consequences of a student under a lenient professor. The priests were to teach and practice God's law with integrity and fairness. However, they failed by mishandling God's word and showing partiality. This resulted in God's judgment through curses and punishment, highlighting the importance for priests today to prioritize spiritual formation and time with God for a flourishing relationship.

The sermon by Pastor John Stanley discusses the purpose, mission, and strategy of Christians, focusing on glorifying God, making disciples, and intentional discipleship. He emphasizes the importance of Christians bringing honor to God rather than seeking glory for themselves and finding fulfillment in worship. The mission, known as the Great Commission, involves making disciples and sharing the gospel courageously. Pastor Stanley outlines a discipleship strategy involving mentors, disciples, and faithful men, highlighting the transformative impact of intentional discipleship in the lives of believers.

In this sermon, Dr. Jake Roudkovski addresses whether the Gospel of Jesus and the word of God have failed. He examines the parable of the sower in Mark chapter 4 to explain different responses to the Gospel. The Gospel has not failed; it is the stubborn, shallow, and strangled hearts that prevent it from having an impact.

Believers are encouraged to continue sharing the Gospel and teaching the word of God, trusting that God can change hearts. The sermon ends with a call to gratitude, prayer for others, and repentance and trust in Christ.

Seeding the clouds is being intentional with what you invest. Think long term, and think eternity. What you do in this life matters, not just for today or tomorrow, but it matters for eternity. Some things you invest your time and energy into will not go far. But when you invest in heavenly things, things for God, these are seeds that will reap a harvest for years, decades, and generations to come.

You may not always see the harvest yourself, but that does not mean it is not a good seed to plant. Seeding the clouds means planting what someone else may harvest and benefit from. This fourth message will complete the Win The Day sermon series, based on Pastor Mark Batterson's book, Win the Day: 7 Daily Habits to Help You Stress Less & Accomplish More.

Winning the day is not something that is only done by accomplishing big goals or serving with fanfare in big ways. We have a tendency to want to wait to give financially when we have more money or wait to serve when we have more time, yet we neglect to realize that there are still needs that can be met with the little bit of money we do have, and the little bit of time we can spare.

Being faithful to present needs opens the door to bigger and better things down the road when we will be given the chance to be faithful in much bigger things. But it all starts with the small sacrifices, the small dedication, and the small responsibilities.

Winning the day is accomplished by being faithful to the smaller things at first, meeting the needs of today instead of sitting around waiting for the needs of tomorrow. That's what it means to fly the kite, start being faithful to the small things, today.

We all face obstacles throughout our lives, and many times we allow those obstacles to overtake us. However, if we use these obstacles, these bad things that have happened to us, to our advantage, they can become leverage rather than downfall. Learn to kiss the wave that throws you against the rock of ages. By doing so you will find strength through life’s storms.

If you are not satisfied with your story, or if you do not find fulfillment in the way you have lived your life up to this point, you are not alone. We all write a story about the lives that we have built, but it is not necessarily the story God has for us. When we find discontentment or dissatisfaction in our lives, it is usually due to being unhappy with the way our story is unfolding.

The good news, however, is that God wants to rewrite your story. God wants to flip the script of your life and give you a new name—and a new story.
