After great careers, it comes to an end for Michael Morgan and Jake Friend. The boys still manage to find faults about the Dally M Medal voting system while discussing the Dragons recent form, the coaching conundrum of the Sharks, and the Tigers terrible performance for the late Tommy Raudonikis.

As Jonty and Aaron are further away from usual, the podcast this week took place over Zoom. They heavily discussed the gap between the best and worst teams currently, the official 18th man announcement, what Aaron's advice is for this week, and they introduced the new segment of 'Big Guy Meat Pie' of which big bopper they believe will score a try this week.

Plenty of injuries throughout the weekend have opened up the discussion of whether the NRL should bring in the 18th man. The boys also discuss the controversial forward pass in the Raiders vs Warriors clash, whether Jason Taumalolo should be able to play State of Origin and how it just seems to be getting worse and worse for the Bulldogs.

The boys are two weeks late but they finally found the time to reminisce on Cameron Smith's fantastic career while eventually discussing the topic of future immortals. They also discuss if the Dally M system needs an overhaul, Ben Hunt's fantastic match on the weekend and if the Dragons should or shouldn't chase Andrew Fifita.

Round One is out of the way and NRL fans got their first look at the season with the new rules into play. The boys discuss what the new rules mean for the upcoming season, the Joseph Suaali exemption to play NRL under 18 years of age and how the Cowboys can use Jason Taumalolo in the best possible way.

The NRL season is finally about to kick off and there is much hope that 2021 won't have anywhere near as much disruption as 2020 did for the NRL. Jonty and Aaron discuss their NRL ladder, coaches to get sacked, their 2021 Dally M Medalist and much more as the boys begin their new season just in time for Round One.

A high scoring week of finals has begun with Newcastle and Cronulla departing the competition. With Melbourne and Penrith earning a week off, we discuss the grand final rematch that takes place this week along with Parramatta matching up with South Sydney.
