Hebrews 2:1-4

Jesus is more valuable than Angels. Therefore, we must pay closer attention to Him. We are warned, that if we do not do this, we will drift away. Our lives should be spent clinging to Jesus as our anchor so that we will not be in danger of falling by the way side.

Hebrews 1:5-14

By virtue of his Divine Sonship, Jesus is superior to all things, including angels. The Father’s unique love for the Son places him as the only worthy object of our devotion, and offers, by faith, to bring his people into the fellowship and community of the Godhead.

Hebrews 1:1-4

God speaks, not simply in static words, but in a real, dynamic way. The clearest and fullest expression of God’s revelation is the person and work of his Son, Jesus Christ. So how do we study Scripture? By reading it in light of the full, perfect, and final revelation of God in Christ.

The book of Deuteronomy serves as a reminder to God’s people of his steadfast love and devotion, and a call for that devotion to be met with praise, worship, and faithful obedience.

Numbers retells perhaps the most tragic portion of Israel’s story. It shines a light on the hard-hearted and stubborn unfaithfulness of this discontented people, while showing God’s gracious desire for a heart-felt relationship.

The entire book of Leviticus communicates the holiness of God, the importance of worship, and the seriousness of sin. How can a sinful person fellowship with a holy God? By grace through faith.

Exodus 25-40

God’s instructions about the Tabernacle reveal that God desires to dwell with his people, but that their worship must be offered appropriately. When concern for the glory of God is replaced with comfort or novelty, our worship becomes tainted and idolatrous.

Exodus 3-15

As we explore the calling of Moses, the ten plagues, and the exodus event, we are shown God’s special care for his people, his power to accomplish his will, and the means by which he will bring it about.
