In 2 Corinthians 4:4 we read about “the god of this world” who blinds the minds of unbelievers. Who is this “god”? James White and others interpret this to mean Yahweh, while the majority of commentators and scholars believe Satan is being referred to. Let’s look at the evidence.

Today Jeremy examines a recent clip published by the CrossPolitic Youtube channel. The speaker in the clip is David Reece, who gave a message at the Fight Laugh Feast “Prodigal America” Conference. Using sound hermeneutical principles, Jeremy shows how certain passages were used out of context to create a neo-prosperity gospel in the Christian Nationalism context.

Executive Director Richard Bargas explores the topic of Dr. Joel Tetreau’s latest book, Three Lines in the Evangelical Sand, which seeks to not only define the differences between fundamentalists and conservative evangelicals but to understand where there is unity and a basis for cooperation and appreciation. Coming from a fundamentalist upbringing and education, Dr. Tetreau speaks with caring love and concern for those who all too quickly want to divide from one another, not only amongst the self-described fundamentalists but also among those who would consider themselves conservative evangelicals.
