In this fascinating episode, we delve into the details inside the book of Revelation that support a late date for its writing, challenging the preterist interpretation that ties its events to AD 70. We’ll explore internal and external evidences, including the conditions of the seven churches, historical context, and testimonies from early church figures. Discover why the dating of Revelation is crucial to understanding its prophecies and how an early date for Revelation is highly unlikely. Don’t miss this in-depth analysis that could transform your understanding of one of the Bible’s most enigmatic books.

Richard Bargas discusses with Pastor Gary Gilley of Southern View Chapel the idea that as Christians, we shouldn't have to choose between humility and speaking the truth. Instead, we should always speak the truth with love, patience, and humility. Listen in as we explore the relationship between humility and truth-telling from a biblical perspective, emphasizing the importance of humility in how we speak the truth, especially for church leaders.

Dr. Gary Gilley has been the pastor of Southern View Chapel in Springfield, Illinois, since 1975. He has authored eight books: “This Little Church Went to Market”, “This Little Church Stayed Home”, “I Just Wanted More Land” – Jabez, “Is That You Lord?”, “This Little Church Had None,” “Out of Formation,” “Growing in Christ,” and “Social Justice, a Primer” (e-book). Additionally, he has contributed to five other books: “Reforming or Conforming,” “Biblical Sufficiency Applied,” “Practical Aspects of Pastoral Theology,” “Dispensationalism Tomorrow & Beyond,” “An Introduction to the New Covenant” and “Fight the Good Fight.”
