In today's episode of Fourtrees, a Warrior Cats podcast, Silver and I recap the vague plot of Bluestar's Prophecy and discuss a few of the themes regarding motherhood, destiny, and how crazy racist Goosefeather is. Silver points out some of the issues he feels he has with the book and I try to get over how crazy sad my cat mom's life was. Like, wow. Absolutely tragic.
Be sure to tune in next week for the last part of the discussion, wherein we talk about plants a lot and linguistics a little! Also, if you like this podcast, be sure to follow us on whatever podcasting site you use and send feedback to me at https://twitter.com/SpencerGrantV !

This week on Fourtrees, a Warrior Cats podcast, Claystorm and I continue our discussion about Firestar's quest, and embark upon a strange conversational road wherein Clayton attempts to convince me that all of the Skyclan cats have a counterpart in the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical "Cats." For the record, he is correct.

Woah! It's the first episode of a new season of Fourtrees, a Warrior Cats podcast! Featuring... A different voice?! That's right, for this and next week we are joined by my dear friend Clayton to discuss Firestar's quest. Clayton has been supportive of me and my podcasting endeavours since day 1, so it's been an honour to have him on. This is also the first mainline episode that will be put up on YouTube, with accessibility options like auto-generated captions and sound visualisers so you can tell who's speaking! There are also some motion graphics I spent the last little while learning how to make. :3

In today's episode, we recap Firestar's quest, talk a little bit about Skyclan's illegal moonshine distillery, and discuss various facets of Warrior Cats culture that I never noticed until I had a second person on to talk with. It's a lot of fun! Be sure to tune in next week for the last part of the discussion!

A minisode between the end of the first arc and the beginning of season 2, covering a discovery I made recently. This talks about the musical process of Fourtrees, some of the mistakes I made, and my defence within the framework of music in general. It also features some live music, and a remix of the end theme provided by Alex Turner, a lovely sound editor who will join us in a few weeks!
You can find Alex's website here: http://alexturnerfilm.co.uk/
Welcome to Fourtrees, a Warrior Cats retrospective podcast! In the future, we'll be making episodes with guests, but for the time being, Spencer here is gonna make it through the original series and refresh his memory on the important stuff.
The audio for this episode is extra-crunchy to commemorate it being the FINAL EPISODE of Season 1! It's lo-fi, I swear. Enjoy it while it lasts. This week's episode is the final book of the original Warrior Cats series, The Darkest Hour. We talk about Bloodclan, Starclan, Firestar, all the usual warrior cats stuff. You're used to it by now.

The episode of this week is A Dangerous Path! Fireheart is so stressed. Nothing is coming up Milhouse. Plus he's got all these freakin' dogs to worry about, and Tigerstar? What's the deal with that? In this episode, I compare Warrior Cats to the Sopranos, tell you to watch I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, and talk a little bit about what's up with Sandstorm. Aside from the fact that she's finally making an appearance in this story.

This week's episode is Rising Storm! The book is about stress and depression (And not the cool sultry French kind). Is Fireheart going to manage the pressures of being the clan deputy well? How is Bluestar faring after Tigerclaw's betrayal? What's the deal with Cloudpaw? The answers to none of these and more in this jam-packed episode of Fourtrees !!!

This week's episode is Forest of Secrets! This book focuses largely on the two BEST characters, Graystripe and Bluestar (No shade, Fireheart!) and explores some sections of the warrior code far deeper than the last two. How will Graystripe reconcile his duty to the clan and his duty to the mother of his children? How do the clans react when one clan is in trouble? Will Fireheart ever get over Spottedleaf? Seriously, dude. It's getting weird. You knew her for like 4 months and you talked to her maybe 3 times

This week's episode is Fire and Ice, the second book! We made it! I walk through the events of the second book and talk a little about how it's handled and the things I like. Largely it's a lot of "Wow this book is way better than I remember" which is always fun! It means I had fun preparing for these and I look forwards to doing the next one. And dude, Graystripe's body count in this book. Holy heck.

This week's episode is Into the Wild, the first book of the Warriors franchise. I run through the book and talk about the introduction to the series, a little about what I remember, and poor, sweet, precious Ravenpaw. God, I feel bad for that kid. I also talk about how they totally nailed their intro and they totally fumbled Spottedleaf. Oh, and I talk about Redtail dying. Did you know that Redtail dies? That's important.
