Our guest tonight is Gastem – From 1985-89 they performed in the Baltimore-DC-VA- area and they have recently reunited and are in the process of re-releasing their material from years ago and releasing new material. (Coming soon!) I had a great time talking to Rob Galpin, Craig Stegall and Mark Schenker- not only about this but about the old days of playing the clubs in this region years ago. A magical time indeed!

Links to their music, websites, and social media can be found in the show notes.

When I was a youngster back in the 1980’s- a budding young headbanger- on Sunday nights before I went to bed to get ready for a grueling week of school- I would listen to M-M-M-Metal Shop- the only show with teeth! I used to love hearing about my favorite bands and hearing ones I’d never heard before. Metal Shop ran on various stations around the country from 1984 to 1995- and now……it is back!! Host Charlie Kendall joined us today to talk about metal shop history- his career in radio- and his plans for the future with metal shop. You can currently hear Metal Shop on 97underground.com on Monday afternoons at 4pm eastern time.

Information on where  you can hear metal shop can be found at charliekendall.com and past episodes can be heard on newhdmedia.com
