Jesus' first sign revealed that he is 1) Lord of the feast, 2) the bridegroom, 3) the redeemer, 4) the Christ, the Son of God, and 5) a faithful friend.

The believers at Ephesus had forsaken their first love, so Jesus admonishes them to 1) remember the height from which they have fallen, 2) repent and 3) repeat the works they did at first.

For people to be converted 1) you must evangelized, 2) God must intervene, and 3) unbelievers have to believe.

Examine yourself to find and confess sin – before sin finds you out!

When you are in distress call upon God, remembering that he is a righteous, gracious and merciful God.

When we turn from pleasing our heavenly Father, and seek our own way, we lose joy, but confession is God's mercy and grace to us. When we repent and confess, God is faithful and just to forgive. Like the Prodigal we can go to our Father and confess that we have sinned before Him. In this way we can receive forgiveness and rejoice in God.

According to Colossians 3:23, Christians are exhorted to "work heartily," literally from the soul. God's people should do this in the fear of the Lord, knowing that they are serving Christ, and he will reward them.

John the Baptist testifies that Jesus is the lamb of God, the giver of the Spirit, and the Son of God. If we look to him in faith he will save us and meet our every need.
