On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a quick whip around the NFL following a series of high-profile coordinator firings. Did Greg Roman get the boot because Lamar Jackson has always wanted to run a pro style system? Will the firing of Byron Leftwich help to keep Tom Brady in Tampa Bay? Who will Minnesota and Miami tab to be their next defensive coordinators? J-Mac has it all covered. Later, former NFL quarterback and 'The QB School' host JT O'Sullivan swings by to discuss Brian Daboll's impact on Buffalo's Josh Allen and New York's Daniel Jones, why he still thinks Brady has a lot left in the tank, how Dak Prescott was able to bounce back from arguably the worst game of his career in Week 18 to play his best game in the Wild Card round, why it's so hard to evaluate quarterbacks coming out of college (like Justin Herbert), why he expects the crop of young quarterbacks to continue to flourish in the NFL Divisional round and much more! Finally, our fearless leader closes the show by giving out his Best Bets for the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.

Paulie & Tony explain why Dak Prescott DESERVES TO BE BLAMED for horrible kicker Brett Maher missing all those extra points. They also explain why the Dallas Cowboys need to STOP WHINING about their so-called “unfair” matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. The Book of Joe Podcast begins with hosts Tom Verducci and World Series Champion Joe Maddon welcoming Paterson NJ Mayor Andre Sayegh to the show. The mayor is leading an effort to restore Hinchliffe Stadium, one of the last remaining Negro League Stadiums in the country. The plans for the build also include a museum around the stadium to tell the stories of the 20+ Hall of Famers who stepped on that field. Mayor Sayegh discusses the work that is going into the project and how he learned persistence through his own pursuit of becoming Mayor. Look for opening ceremonies on April 14th and the New Jersey Jackals moving in to call Hinchliffe Stadium their home. Mayor Sayegh reveals what other sports, schools, and colleges will be able to use the venue in the future! We wrap up with a 'Reading from The Book of Joe' and learn the life lesson from page 14.

On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) bring you wall-to-wall coverage of NFL Wild Card Weekend. We've been told that the NFL is a Quarterback League so naturally guys like Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley went toe-to-toe with MVP candidates Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. However, it's clear that the one guy who 'won' the weekend is New York Giants signal caller Daniel Jones. Jones out-dueled Kirk Cousins in what was easily his best game of the season. The question then now becomes whether or not Jones has shown enough over the last two months to solidify himself as the Giants' franchise quarterback moving forward. On the flip side, the clear 'losers' of the weekend were Los Angeles Chargers, who blew a 27-0 lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brandon Staley showed once again that he's not quite cut out to be the head coach of an NFL with Super Bowl aspirations. If the Chargers weren't such a historically cheap franchise they would seem like a lock to nab Sean Payton to be their next head coach this offseason. Moreover, Rob G argues that a loss like the one the Chargers suffered proves once and for all that Justin Herbert should no longer be included in the group of elite quarterbacks. Is Herbert an elite QB, or is he just the second coming of the Detroit Lions version of Matthew Stafford? Finally, the guys close the show by previewing tonight's game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Are the Bucs being oversold in this spot? Is Mike McCarthy's job on the line? The guys have the answers to those questions - and more!
