  • Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - The Sixers Got Exposed, the Nets are Still a Problem & the Return of the (Khalil) Mack

On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a deep dive into the Brooklyn Nets' blowout victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. The game was billed as 'Ben Simmons' return to Philly', but the story to come out of this one was James Harden's disappearing act in yet another big game. The Beard shot 3-for-17, further cementing his reputation as player who folds when the lights are the brightest. J-Mac has been saying since the Harden trade went down that the Sixers were overrated, and they sure looked that way on Thursday night. On the flip side, with a healthy Kevin Durant and an available Kyrie Irving, the Nets look every bit like the championship contender we thought they were. If and when Simmons returns to the floor, Brooklyn has to be viewed as one of the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. Later, Jason closes the show with a few thoughts on the blockbuster trade that saw the Chicago Bears send All-Pro pass rusher Khalil Mack to the Los Angeles Chargers. Mack isn't the superstar he was a few years ago, but he's still one of the best defensive ends in the NFL. What's more, with Joey Bosa on the other side, offenses won't be able to double-team his much. This trade is a huge win for the Chargers, and with stud quarterback Justin Herbert still on his rookie deal, we should expect more moves like this from Los Angeles going forward.

  • Up On Game Presents: Stay A While With Tommi Vincent: Through the Fire: Exhibiting Faith in Every Season With Troy Vincent

“I'm sure we're going to have more challenges in life. That's just life. That's how you build your muscle. That's how you graduate and matriculate through this thing called life. Because life is one big lesson until we leave this place, and I will forever be a learner of life. And it's never too late to transform your life.” - Tommi Vincent

Welcome to Stay a While with Tommi Vincent! Today I speak with some who will forever have a seat at my table, my husband, Troy Vincent. If life is a test, then the year 2020 is the pop quiz we didn't study for. Through the trials and the wins, one thing that remains steady is our faith. The question is, can you “walk it like you talk it”? When you're being tested, faith plus action are necessary to achieve results. Sometimes you need to hear from someone who has been through the fire and has the medals to prove it.

Troy Vincent is the Executive Vice President of Football Operations at the National Football League, beginning his football career as the 7th overall pick in the first round for the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 NFL Draft. After 15 seasons of playing in the league, Troy continues to be nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for the Philadelphia Eagles, the State of Pennsylvania, the University of Wisconsin, and Pennsbury High School.

“And I think this goes back to the foundation of our relationship. Christ being the center of our relationship so that when we disagree, who we have to answer to is Christ.” - Troy Vincent

“I wanted to make sure that the listeners would have an opportunity to walk away from this relationship understanding that the activation of faith is paramount to being able to move through circumstances and situations. We've been through the fire, and we came out without a stench of smoke.” - Tommi Vincent

“Just imagine where we would be if we took hold of [faith], and we captured those things, and had full control over it. And we weren't worried about the challenges and the things that haunted us.” - Troy Vincent

  • Wrighster Or Wrong - Russell Wilson, Calvin Ridley, Russell Westbrook, Ryan Coogler 1 item, 1.74 GB in total ・ Expires on 6 April, 2022

Subscribe, Rate & Review the Wrighster or Wrong podcast right here.  On this Episode of Wrighster or Wrong, George Wrighster and Ralph Amsden get into the blockbuster deal that sent Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, leaving the Seahawks without a franchise QB and the AFC West the most stacked QB division in history. Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley received a one-year suspension and is losing $11 million dollars after it was revealed that he gambled $1500 on his own team using a DraftKings account last year, George and Ralph talk about whether the punishment fit the crime, and whether the NFL has a fairness problem when it comes to enforcement. Russell Westbrook talked about the criticism he's been facing as the Lakers struggle this year, and said that names like "Westbrick" shame his family, the guys discuss the validity of Westbrook's feelings, and talk about his value as a player. Finally, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler was detained after a Bank of America teller mistook him for a Bank robber- was this an issue of corporate racism, or a rogue anxious employee?

  • Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - Greatest Scorers in NBA History, Packers Are Starting to Panic & the Cowboys Window is Closing

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off by taking a small verbal victory lap on the heels of Jayson Tatum's 54-point explosion on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets. J-Mac tried to tell y'all last week that Tatum was the best one-on-one scorer in the NBA since Kobe Bryant and the fans were outraged, so it's safe to say that our fearless leader is feeling pretty good about himself today. Plus, Producer Rob G joins the show to help discuss the notion that LeBron James (who will likely already be the NBA's all-time leading scorer this time next season) is not one of the great scorers in NBA history. Just because LeBron's bag isn't as deep as someone like Tatum or Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving doesn't necessarily mean that he shouldn't be viewed as a great scorer. LeBron puts the ball in the basket, period. Having a Swiss Army knife is great but that doesn't mean it's always more effective than a hammer. Later, the guys take a few minutes to discuss the latest scuttlebutt surrounding Aaron Rodgers and his future in Green Bay. It appears the Packers are starting to doubt whether or not Rodgers really wants to remain with the club. Quite honesty, who could blame him? The Packers haven't made a Super Bowl in over a decade. Maybe Rodgers thinks a change of scenery is exactly what he needs to get over the hump. Finally, Jason and Rob G close the show with a few thoughts on the reports that the Dallas Cowboys could lose both Amari Cooper and Demarcus Lawrence this offseason. J-Mac tried to warn us last year when Dak Prescott signed his big deal that the Cowboys would only able to keep the team together for a year or two before the salary cap came back to bite them. It's pretty safe to say that the Cowboys championship window is already closed.

  • Chris Plank & Arnie Spanier Debate Combine Popularity, Lakers & Arizona

Chris and Arnie argue over the popularity of the NFL Combine, as Arnie doesn't like talking 40s or hand sizes (yet spoke about his thumb for 5 minutes.) FSR's Bernie Fratto covered the MLB strike in '94 and joins the fellas to compare the current issues. They talk Knicks/Clippers and Chris is all out on the current Lakers team, even after LeBron's 56. Todd Fuhrman is in the house to help get you ready for March Madness and sets the scene is the 702. The show sets odds on when MLB will start and Arnie is hyped for his Arizona team's opportunity for a 1 seed. Time for some NFL talk and the dumbest sports blackout you've ever heard about. Plus, Arnie's picks can earn you enough money for a candy bar.
