I am really excited about this episode mainly because I have been listening to her podcasts for a while now and have gotten so much out of them. So when I reached out and asked her if she would be a guest and she agreed I was over the moon excited cause I wanted to share her with all my Foxy listeners.

There are many times in my life when I look at what someone else is doing with their career and am in awe of the skills that they use. Meghann Clements is one of these people for me.
Meghann has been with Scentsy since it opened in Canada in October of 2009. She was able to quit her job as a social worker with the Government of Alberta after only 1 year and has been working in her business full time since then. She reached Superstar Director, the top level of the company after only 23 months. In 2013 she received the Shining Star award which is the most prestigious consultant nominated award in the company at the National conference in Indianapolis. Her husband was able to retire from law after 3 years and worked with her full time for 3 years.
Currently she has the largest business in Canada with over 4,400 consultants in her organization. She also has a large global business with consultants from Europe, USA, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. She also travels 1-2 times a year to Australia and New Zealand to train and connect with her consultants there. Who wouldn't love that!?! She has earned 13 free trips all over the world to places like Greece, Africa, Disneyworld, a Mediterranean Cruise, New York City, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Switzerland to name a few.
If that doesn't make her sound busy enough she is also the Mom of 3 amazing children, 1 girl and 2 boys. The family loves athletics and fitness and Meghann doesn't start her weekday without joining a session at her favorite place Orange Theory Fitness in Okotoks Alberta.
Over the past 5 months the show has received many emails and comments asking more about our host. Her husband Glenn takes over the show and picks some of these questions and puts Tanya on the other side of the mic.

Like brushing our teeth or brewing a morning cup of coffee, checking in on what’s happening within our social networks has become part of the daily routine for most of us. As a result, social media has also become a routine marketing tactic for nearly every business these days Business is using it to help build brand awareness, share and interact with customers and create another touch point with their advertising.
As the social media landscape continues to evolve, both new and seasoned marketing professionals are constantly searching for answers on how they can best leverage social media within their businesses marketing strategies.

This established the annual Women in Business Conference. In 2016, she began speaking at Conferences and teaching Workshops internationally, sharing what she has learned while being in Business and becoming top of her field.

Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to join in marriage these two people. Ahhhhh marriage that moment when you vow to spend your life with another person in sickness and in health, for better or for worse.
They say there are 3 rings of marriage, the engagement ring, the wedding ring then the suffering!
Any relationship whether it be with a piece of paper or not is hard enough on it’s own. I’m sure you have heard the turn of phrase, “Want to know if your marriage will last, renovate something together!”
Well I say, “Want to know if your marriage will last try building a business together!” Entrepreneurship is a hard and sometimes lonely road, the heartaches can be plenty but the triumphs, the growth and the goals can far outweigh any struggle you may face along the way. The same can be said about a committed relationship.
On today’s episode we are going to be talking about Love and Entrepreneurship.
It seems that it is often young entrepreneurs who make the headlines and receive most of the recognition for their accomplishments. Think of Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Matt Mullenweg (WordPress) and Pete Cashmore (Mashable) — all in started their early 20s, and high up on the list of successful entrepreneurs. But the age of the founder is not the primary factor that determines whether or not a business will be successful.
In fact, there is an argument that those who start businesses later in life have a better chance of reaching success: Studies have shown that if you're over 55 years old, you are twice as likely as your counterparts who are under 35 to launch a high-growth startup.
Reasons to continue working after retirement vary according to the individual: some would like to have additional income, some do not have enough to retire comfortably, other aren’t fans of typical retiree activities feeling bored with them while also feeling they have a lot more to still contribute to the business world.
Psychologists say work and activity help seniors stay healthy: both mentally and physically. According to research by the Kauffman Foundation, the percentage of new entrepreneurs aged 55-64 increased from 15% in 1996 to almost 26% in 2014. And the number of senior business start-ups continues to grow even today.
Our guest today is one of these go getters. At 66 years old her passion for entrepreneurship and creating healing partnership continues to grow and evolve. Not ready to hang up her working shoes to bake cookies, rock in a chair and knit all day Suzanne Page started doing therapies in 1998 even though her passion for health care started as a teenager. In 2000 her became certified with the Reflexology Association of Canada and today she holds many designations including
RCRT - Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist
MCSRI - Member of Cranio-Sacral Reflexology Institute (London, England)
CRP - Canadian Reiki Practitioner
She is the owner of ynoT Therapies located in Smith Falls Ontario and in internationally sought-after therapist.
In 2013, Brooklyn-based designer Ryder Carroll took the productivity world by storm when he introduced bullet journaling, a method that he developed to stay organized without being restricted to a pre-formatted planner template. Those who adopt the system are wildly passionate about it, these loyal followers are proud to call themselves productivity-loving nerds, who not only use it themselves but love to teach others how to harness this artform. We are thrilled to speak with one of these teachers, Sara Golby is the queen of the pens!
Sarah started her journey while working as a manager at an environmental consulting company. While wandering rural Alberta conducting inspections, tracking multi-million dollar projects, leading 35 staff members, and trying to maintain a personal life, she had to have a way to stay on top of everything. Apps weren’t working, three different notebooks were too much to handle, and limping along with six different systems was letting life slip through the cracks. Then she discovered Bullet Journaling, and created one system to rule them all.
How many times have you had to grit your teeth, take a deep breath and silently repeat to yourself, “The customer is always right”? This is a motto that’s drilled into every young retail or hospitality worker, and has somehow made its way into the psyches of most established business owners.
The problem is, the customer isn’t always right, and always thinking otherwise can result in serious disservice to you, your employees, and your customers.
In this episode I tell 3 experiences from my customer service vault and the lessons I learned in how to deal when the customer is not right.
Home offices can be fantastic, they can also be a trap. In this episode we talk about 10 tips I use to make my home office a productive space.
