  • 14thEpisode - GW27 - Lost in the Woods
Fourteenth episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
The absence of our social media mogul, the much maligned Woodsy, sends shockwaves through the panel as they scramble to fill the void left by his absent banterous tones.
Fortunately this gives rise to a rare week of panels picks without West Ham players! Parker's nutrition advice seemed to benefit the Man City opposition in the FA cup and heads are turned towards one Spanish forward who is used to playing with the "freedom" of the Nou Camp!
Iceman cannot appear to hide his growing love for Leicester with an uncharacteristic shout for this game week, whilst stubbornly backing a Stokalona maestro for captains choice just to remind us he's in charge... Find out if he can resist a tempting wager posed by the panel to follow this through!
On the subject of captains choice, the panel offer their weekly installment of "lie to me" with decisions changing by the minute!
As the Beards mind games appear to be working on his fellow podcast nemesis, listen as the tension reaches boiling point and things start to get nasty. The pressure of a mini league victory this season coupled with a Cattermole sized handicap the next, makes for intense exchanges in the Iceman's quiz.
All this and more on this week's installment of the fantasy football surgery!

13thEpisode - GW26 - Rooney and Martial vs Ant and Dec
The thirteenth episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast really is unlucky for some! With one panel member facing ridicule for a Aston Villa style game week!
There's an eruption of bubbles! "OGBONNA"!!!
The beard goes Devilishly full bastard and promotes the new impressive looking Manchester United attack. The Iceman is gunning for Woodsy as he refuses to accept that Mahrez will do the Egyptian walk through the Arsenal defence. There's the suggestion he Petr Čech Leicester's impressive win over the Sky Blues! We discuss whether FPL managers should pie Payet, as well as the usual tips, stats and FPL performance analysis on who we think will score highly in GW26.

  • 12thEpisode - GW25 - Baines on Toast – a bitter taste
The twelfth episode of the Fantasy Football Podcast allows the Surgery pundits to discuss the new signings from the January Transfer window, providing stats and arguments for the players that with a new lease of life in the top flight may feature within your FPL squads.
We’re suffering with the blues after GW24 and the focus is placed on Everton’s performance against Newcastle. The Toffee’s decisive 3-0 victory feels like a defeat for the majority of the panel and the all too familiar feeling of FPL anger is vented towards Roberto Martinez. Much to the disgust of managers throughout the FPL community the Spaniards starting 11 didn’t include the £6.2m valued left back, leaving a pricey forward thinking points scorer stuck on the substitutes bench. There is however a little smile peering through the ginger hair as the Beard attempts to lift the spirits of his fellow pundits by reminding them of Barkley’s 16 point haul, as he avoids the bitter taste of Baines on toast.
Bully and the Iceman are pro Arsenal as the Gunners prepare to visit Dean Court. In reaction Woodsy reminds them of their -1 goal difference and failure to score over the previous three game weeks. It becomes noticeably obvious that Woodsy is swayed by the usual statistical analysis provided by the Iceman and makes a full u-turn coming into the Captains Choice.
The controversy continues as the Iceman and Manchester United fan Brookie suggest the inclusion of United players within your squads. Brookie doesn’t stop there and bursts into a Manu tide turning promise that the Red Devils are only seeing green arrows from this point onwards….the beard has clearly grown into his brain.
The usual FPL discussions, suggestions and stats brought to you alongside the odd amusing exchange, also featuring Woodsy chomping on humble pie, Vardy vs Alli, pending double game weeks and much much more….

  • 11thEpisode - GW24 - It's a Payet's life for me
Eleventh episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
After Kun returns to his very best, one green eyed panel member is left penniless and without a paddle as his wildcard selections were of the toffee variety.
Dimitri dominates the panels choices for the week much to the disgust and bewilderment of the Iceman, setting a frosty tone for the rest of the podcast!
A shocking revelation is afoot as the usually Van Gaal esque preparation of Charlie prompts a tirade of banter and a second mention for Midlands cart horse Salomon Rondon!
This week's price rise stats go deeper than even Opta can imagine, with pub food based dietary advice for one lucky BPL superstar!
Woodsys Twitter travels beg the question, who is going to make the difference in the run in, with the panel not giving up hope on one Belgian flop just yet.
Finally the threat of a 5 man midfield anchored by the likes of Barry, Mulumbu or the dreaded Cattermole next season looms as the ice man brings a familiar range of trivia and basic movement definition to the quiz.
All this and more in episode 11- Aguerrrrooooooooooo!

  • 10thEpisode - GW23 - All aboard the City train. Cho-cho-Choose Kun
Tenth episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
The Fantasy Football Surgery reaches a decade anniversary of episodes. Routine surgery continues as scheduled as the team continue to open up discussion, statistical analysis and there's the usual mass debating over the past and future Fantasy Football game week.
Much to the surgeons evident disgust the extend injury seen in this week's surgery is an inflamed toe!!! We prescribe a course of man up pills and an immediate change of tampon for Mr Ozil, who we hope will see a full recovery in time for Chelsea. But not before Brookie performs the most simplistic of eye tests on him.
Also prepare yourself for some NHS style surgery mishap as there's whole new levels of incompetence, that upstage even Woodsy's confusion over basic football manoeuvres. The Iceman's lack of positional sense is exposed as the panel are asked to name the ultimate strike force for Game Week 23, it becomes obvious that Parker backs LVG in his decision not to recognise de Gea's fantastic performance against Liverpool and a Game Week that saw 28 goals is dismissed as Woodsy shows a distinct lack of faith in the accuracy of our Premier League players.
A captaincy divide presents an all new challenge but the rise of democracy is short lived with a shocking declaration by Charlie Parker, and it's cho-cho-choose Kun!
Good luck in Game Week 23 and thank you for listening!

  • 9thEpisode - GW22 - Wildcard played and now there's 5!
Ninth episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
This week we're officially operating with a fifth member in the surgery. Manchester City Football club nutritionist, Southampton fan and fantasy football fanatic, Parker, throws on his scrubs and joins the surgeons in dissecting fantasy football Game Week 22.
Another embarrassing twist in the Andy Carroll saga for Woodsy sees him once again taking a fickle u-turn! The hammers theme is encouraged and unfortunately unavoidable due to Payet's return and impressive performance. This causes a hammers orientated mass debate and no sign of erectile dysfunction as we reminisce over the Frenchman's staggering free kick, which quite literally finishes us off blowing bubbles.
Routine surgery then continues as we open up Game Week 21's successes and look in quick succession to our Game week 22 predictions. Manchester City's lack of clinical and consistent attacking players are debated, as well as Rooney, Defoe and many more. There's then a conflict in opinion as the surgeons have differing views on the best remedy to treat a certain party that seems to be going into cardiac arrest....or is it revivable?
Of course none of us would take our listeners into surgery without the Iceman's analytical statistics to act as a anaesthesia and there's also a shock performance in the quiz.
The usual juvenile banter, useful stats and no first aid for a tongue tied trauma....
    Game W, w, week 22.....

  • 8thEpisode - GW21 - Surgery assisted by Man City nutritionist
Eight episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
This week the team commence surgery without the Beard, but are assisted in surgically dissecting GW21 by their very own Mesut, Lloydy Parker (@parkernutrition). Currently leading the surgeons mini league the Manchester City FC dietitian and nutritionist shares his advice and thoughts from the top.
Woodsy is forced to apologise to West ham’s Andy Carroll after his good form continued against Liverpool in GW20. Which opens up discussion centered around the hammers and the exciting return from injury of one particular player.
Irons talk is then brought to a halt after dwelling on James Collins for far too long, we then go on to discuss regular features, panel picks, budget players, differentials and the dreaded captain choice. Leading us to discuss Chelsea's encouraging results, promising fixtures for Spurs and Man City and much much more.
As always the finishing stroke is the Iceman's quiz, testing our knowledge on Fantasy Football stats and highlighting some differential players through obscure stats. There's also some post-surgery medical advice that will Mesut assist you in protecting yourselves against the last minute captain change at 11:44 AM / 18:44 PM.

Seventh episode of the Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast.
Last episode the panel made their wishes to Santa, some with strikingly accurate consequences! Find out who got what they wished for and who is waiting for the January sales.
Leicester City have performed above and beyond this season but is the confidence in Vardy and Mahrez about to become misplaced? We discuss their upcoming fixtures and who may be worth transferring in their place.
Stoke feature heavily for the panel as they pick the usual eye brow raising mix of differentials and players that will make you a buck or two in the coming weeks.
Finally feel the brutal tingle of winters icey touch as the ice mans quiz pushes the panel to a chilly conclusion.
