Therefore, we can hardly determine who's truly the poor by what the eyes can see. The challenge is for us to approach people, listen and know them. Jesus took every opportunity to show man his openness to them. The question though is, are we open to God. [Mark 7:31-37, Friday of the 5th Week in the Ordinary Time]

The mark of one's faith in God is one's importance and appreciation of self. [Mark 7:24-30, Thursday of the 5th Week in the Ordinary Time]

Though a person is a product of his environment, he still decides of what he wants to become. [Mark 7:14-23, Wednesday of the 5th Week in the Ordinary Time]

Just as healing came to the sick by the touch of Jesus' cloak so others get healed when they touch us. [Mark 6:53-56, Monday of the 5th Week in the Ordinary Time]
