When we ask God for big things, it shows that we believe He has the power to deliver. How many prayers would be answered if we only asked? Today's homily looks at what to ask for and how to do it. Hint: GO BIG!

God, who is love, made man and woman (in marriage) to be like Him--to live and to love like Him. God gives Himself to us totally at every Mass. He loves us completely. He holds nothing back. We are called to do the same.

Scripture speaks of the "brothers and sisters" of Jesus. Did Mary and Joseph have other children? This is a disputed topic in Christianity. But the answer couldn't be clearer.

Souls that die in a state of grace will be saved. Souls that die apart from God (without supernatural grace and faith) are doomed. So what about our relatives and friends who are away from the faith? What can we do to "bring them back to life?" There is something you CAN do! Christ Himself said it works...

St. Paul reminds us that we will be judged when we die. If we choose God over the world (by our words and our actions) heaven will be ours. But heaven is not a guarantee. What we do and don't do on this earth matters. But once we REALLY encounter God, the road to heaven will seem easy...

Sin entered the human scene through a woman--Eve. So, God promsied to redeem the world through a woman--Mary.  In 1925, the Blessed Virgin appeared to Sister Lucia dos Santos. Despite the fact that man was entrenched in sin following WWI, Mary promosed a remedy. This remedy is valid today as well. If we listen to her advice ...we will become a saint (no matter what our past looks like). This is the easiest path to heaven ever. BUT...you MUST follow this plan to the T...

Jesus Christ said, "unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you." This is serious stuff. There is no salvation apart from God. The Eucharist is God. Therefore, there is no salvation without the Eucharist. We have to make sure EVERYONE knows this! It is literally a matter of life and death!

God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit live within every human soul that loves Him and follows His commands. This means that we can all access God anytime..anwhere...in any circumstance. Those who know how will experience tremndous joy--even in the midst of suffering and death.

Confusion is the rotten fruit of disunity--a life not centered on God. Think of our world today. We are confused about basic truths: marriage, our gender, our purpose in life, that truth is objective...and so on. Confusion leads to depression, hopelessness and death. The remedy is unity in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit unites us to God and to each other. Come Holy Spirit...

God did not make a mistake in creating you. He absolutely loves you. But love isn't one-sided. We have to love God back. Today's homily tries to explain how we are to do that.
