Troy Nieland was on the podcast to discuss his service, background, upbringing and his epic Christmas surprise of his 2 boys at a Christmas Parade. He is a great hard working and family orientated guy, I am proud that I know him. He also talked about his time doing funerals for fallen Marines. Jake WoodFord came on the Podcast to discuss his vision and why he is running for Mayor of Appleton, WI.  It was so great to sit down with him and just have a casual conversation with him about the different aspects to politics but also some local issues that affect many local veterans and families.

Sat down with Lindsay and talked about mentorship and getting involved in the community with helping our youth but also ourselves in the process. We learned why she does what she does and her passion.  How she achieved young professional of the year. She is a great person and had so much fun interviewing her.

Coast Guard Veteran Brandon Powers was on the podcast and we went in-depth about his service in the Coast Guard and around the country at different duty locations. We talked about some misconceptions about the coast guard and why " The Guardian" is the best Coastie movie ever made!   We also talked about his education background and his current passion for USPSA shooting. My friend Leah Helms was on the Podcast sharing her path into helping our MIL/Vet community with many various passions she has. She also is a boss lady at JDog Junk Removal nationwide franchise veteran owned company.  Leah brings a lot to the Fox Cities and Wisconsin and it was a honor to have her share so much  on the Podcast.

Retired 1SG Tim LaSage was on the podcast. We talked about his journey into the Marine Corps. How he got onto FAST, becoming a Scout Sniper, the Iraq Invasion and many more stories. We talked about transitioning and life after service. This is part 1 of many more we plan on doing.   Tim has a lot of military experience but continues to mentor veterans on professional development, he is also very active in the MIL/Vet community.

My local friend and fellow Veteran Advocate Jessica Williams came on the podcast to talk about her successes and teachable failures. She shared a personal story of why she does what she does everyday and the countless lives she is helping. She is so smart, edgy, and filled with lots of experience, it would be a disservice to not have her on.  We talked about her time at WDVA and her other previous jobs working with thousands of veterans around the state and world!   I hope you all enjoy this episode.

Erin Celello came on the podcast to share her vast expertise on our military and veteran in higher education and becoming open minded to different ideas and personal views about war and transition but life in general.  We talked about the difference she has seen with non-veterans and veterans taking her class and becoming more involved in their communities regardless if it is veteran related.  We talked about expressive writing for veterans that could be a form of therapy and outlet and why its important.  Erin was a blast to have on the Podcast and I look forward to having her on again really soon.  Please check out her book "Learning to Stay" available on Amazon.

Veterans Day 2019 celebrated with my close friend Brenden Piper. Folks, we dove into a lot on this episode and talked about about each other and the veteran community but also paying homage to all Veterans past, current, and currently serving. Brenden opened up about his usually path that lead him into military service and how he grew as a leader inside the military and within his community.  We definitely didn't hold back on certain issues, and Brenden turned the tables on me and interviewed me a tad bit, which was fun.  Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans!

My friend Zach came on the Podcast and we just reminisced about our tour in Iraq in 2009-2010 at Camp Bucca. Zach talked about his first tour and the high and low points of that tour at 19 years old. Zach gained so much life experience at such a young age and that has carried him through life and has propelled him to be successful after his service.  Zach also talked his transition with both deployments and the differences between his maturity level. How he maintained his relationships with his fellow veterans during college to have a somewhat normal transition.
