We're back and combining the last two entries in the Terminator Franchise into one episode, 2015 Terminator: Genisys and 2019 Terminator: Dark Fate. Listen to find out which one of these movies the boys like and which one they think should be annihilated by the future robots. This turns into a very hot and contentious episode about halfway through and the opinions start flying. We may need to send back our own T-1000 to make sure this episode never gets released.
The boys have out-smarted Skynet and have figured out a way to watch the third movie in the Terminator Franchise, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. We cover why franchises typically break down at this point of the series, why this movie has more symbolism and social commentary than you'd think, and ultimately decide if this is the last good Terminator movie.
Crazy episode this week. Chris begins with a rant on a lost recording. And then the guys get around to explaining why they are covering Terminator Salvation instead of Terminator 3. We then eventually talk about the fourth movie in the Terminator Franchise, Terminator Salvation. A Christian Bale starring vehicle that finds out the hard way, you can't just rehash things from past movies, in order to make a new movie. We are all Amateurs.
We are Terminating again with the monumental second film in the Terminator Franchise, Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Chris and Luke are joined by their good friend Paul to cover one of the best action movies of all time, and the true highlight of this Franchise.
We're back with a brand new Franchise! This week we break down the first movie in the Terminator Franchise, James Cameron's breakthrough smash hit The Terminator. Join Chris and Luke as they break down Arnold as the bad guy, having a reptile as a pet, Tech Noir, and so much more!
This is the final episode for the Batman Franchise and we have a great three part episode to wrap everything up. In the first part Luke and Chris welcome our friend Ben to the show to fantasy draft elements from the Batman movies. In the second part, Luke and Chris go back through all of their ratings for the Batman movies and give their final rankings of all the movies. Finally, in part three, the boys reveal the winner of the Facebook poll and the next Franchise that they will be covering, starting next week!
The final Batman movie, that we are covering, is upon us. So lets crank up the Nirvana as we cover Matt Reeve's The Batman. We are joined by a special guest, Luke's brother James, to cover an emo Bruce Wayne, a Zodiac Riddler, and a wise guy Penguin. This film really has everything. And we cover all of it, and so much more.
We've made it to the end of the Nolan Batman-verse with his final installment, the 2012 film, The Dark Knight Rises. Chris and Luke are joined by our good friend Sam to break down the conclusion to the trilogy within the franchise. Lines were drawn on this episode and sides were taken as we discuss whether this movie is a proper conclusion for the trilogy or just a bunch of nonsense. Does the Bane voice bother you? Well then stay tuned because you're going to be hearing it non-stop. Fish Stick Water!
