We're back with the sixth episode of the Batman Franchise, Christopher Nolan's superhero masterpiece, The Dark Knight. We return to the Batman universe with our fifth episode in the franchise, where we celebrate the iconic start of Christopher Nolan's trilogy: Batman Begins (2005). Chris and Luke discuss the impeccably written first hour of the movie, the different versions of Fear that Bruce Wayne/Batman must face, the beginning of the Nolan Batman ending problem, and so much more. Also, we are joined by a Special Guest, the Boss man himself, Bruce Springsteen at the end of the show to discuss his thoughts on the crime and corruption in Gotham City. We are taking a short break from the Batman Franchise to cover the new Joker movie; Joker: Folie a Deux. We open the show with a brief discussion of the 2019 Joker movie and then proceed to give a spoiler free review of the new movie. We are at the end of our run of 90s Batman movies with the turd of all turds, Batman & Robin. The Batman Franchise would not recover from this until 2005, but Luke and Chris have a fun time running through all the problems with this terrible movie.
