  • 034 - Dali Parkin’
Krisha has blue hair and is just back from a trip to the beach. Frank thought Krisha’s feet looked weird in a photo at the beach. She went to a Waffle House with a mermaid mural on the side wall.
Krisha was moved to tears at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Street closures for a recent grand prix made it very difficult to drive to the museum.
Frank saw Dali on an old episode of What’s My Line online. Krisha asks about the version of Match Game that Frank wrote and hosted for a church fundraiser. Frank has some news about hiring Steve’s Tree Service to remove several problem trees on his property.
Today’s episode is sponsored by BoneZones.com (don’t forget the S) where you can buy books and merchandise autographed by world-renowned forensic anthropologist Dr. Bill Bass.

  • 033 - Tea for Two?
After visiting Sharp’s Ridge Veterans Memorial Park, Krisha & Frank drive to the Hummingbird Hemp Cafe, 3716 Walker Boulevard in Knoxville. Krisha orders a Lady Grey tea with CBD. Frank seems a little uncomfortable.
Krisha & Frank retreat to Krisha’s porch to finish the show. Krisha still smiles behind her mask when posing for photos. The mask causes Frank to notice Krisha’s eyes instead of her cheeks. Krisha points out that Frank has expressive eyebrows, which leads to a discussion of nose hairs and Krisha’s nose ring.
Krisha gets COVID tests regularly but was nervous recently while waiting for results due to autumn allergies. Frank took some extra precautions with his mouthwash and vitamins. Krisha has odd side effects from B-12.

  • 032 - Look, Sharp's
Krisha & Frank visit Sharp’s Ridge Veterans Memorial Park, which has a great view of downtown Knoxville. Krisha tells Frank about her first radio job at a station on Sharp’s Ridge. The last time Frank went to the Park, it cost him a $1,000 repair bill. Frank tells Krisha how he was warned to avoid the “pickle park” when he first moved to Knoxville. When Frank worked on the Ridge, he would see wild turkeys outside the studio window.
Krisha looked up the words added to the dictionary in the years she and Frank were born. Frank tries to guess what song was number one when Krisha was born. The top songs of that year remind Frank of listening to Sandy Weaver on Q107 in Washington, D.C.
Krisha took a radio class in the Andrew Johnson Building, which was once the hotel where Hank Williams, Sr. spent his final night. Several artists performed their last show in Knoxville, including George Jones, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Randy Rhoads.
