There are some questions that need to be asked in order for us to discern whether these traits Paul sets out for Church Overseers should be indicative of a person's character and lifestyle rather than legislative.

1 Timothy 3:2

Paul describes the role of an overseer as a good work or a noble task. This is a trustworthy saying! As Pastor Tim begins an exegesis of 1 Timothy 3, he parallels it with the role of a mum with it being Mother's Day.
