In this episode, I define the term woke how it has been used in today's social media society and how it seems it has kept us apart from a united nation. I share my experiences as a Hispanic woman of color during Trump's administration and how it impacted several students even professors of color the hardest. I share my own experience encountering racism as a college student and how I regret now voting in the 2016 election. I continue to talk about one's ignorance when it comes to legal status, race, and religion and the hate towards Muslims, Hispanics, and African Americans. Β I end my podcast with the privilege of attending a special guest speaker at my college Terrance Roberts an African American student who attended Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas in 1957 when segregation was still happening in the United States.Β
