Oh well would you look at that?! I see you're back for the 7th round of Freaky Phone Stories. Well, have I got a treat for you tonight my friends! If you shy away from gore or gruesome stuff, you might want to skip this one. It is not for the faint of heart.
This whole story started with me jumping out of an airplane in 1999. I wasn’t always that adventurous, but I had a fear of heights and decided that that would be the ultimate cure. And I must tell you, it cured my fear of heights.
I had not been skydiving long, but I had grown fond of it very quickly. There was something about that dopamine dump and adrenaline surge that I could not get enough of. I found myself heading out to the drop zone every single weekend.
On this episode of Freaky Phone Stories, the wayward traveler is going to be telling you all about Paintball Guns & Kung Fu Nuns.
The decade of choice for this episode is the 90s, and I was in my twenties. The world was freaking out over the upcoming Y2K bug that never happened, and SpongeBob took front and center stage, leaving all adults ears to bleed.
I was living in a hot and wicked land, known as Arizona. Hellfire, brimstone, scorched earth, that sort of thing. If there is a Hell on Earth, I'd say it's right about where Phoenix is.
Follow two young brothers as they search for their best friend, Holly. Holly has been kidnapped by some ladies who are up to no good and its up to the Knotts Brothers to find her.
I'd like to thank MEGonzales, MamaRaven, Sallyanne30, gothicpixie, and gmcosgrove on HitRecord.org for their voice contributions to this episode. This story wouldn't have been nearly as cool without their efforts. So a round of applause is in order for the fine voice talent over at Joe Gordon Levitt's site. You may have heard of him if you've ever seen 3rd Rock From the Sun or if you haven't lived under a rock for the past 20 years.
Join us next week for some Paintball Guns & Kung Fu Nuns! Until then, pay more attention to those high score initials.

Oh hey there, glad you made it back for Episode 4 of Freaky Phone Stories. On this episode, I'm taking you way back to the year 1991. I was freshly out of High School and Back to the Future 3 was a hit. Everyone was walking around saying "Great Scott!" and "It's Your Kids, Marty!"
Brick cell phones were a thing, but only for the rich. The rest of us lowly surfs would have to wait a few more years before cellular tech was affordable. Mike Tyson was the champ. The internet was a newborn infant and AOL kept saying "YOU'VE GOT MAIL!"
The night was about to get interesting for two thrash metal heads.
Join the wayward traveler on Episode 3 of Freaky Phone Stories as he talks about a crazy weekend in a dungeon like basement with is buddies and some Dungeons & Dragons. The night was just like any other D&D Weekend, but a random phone call and girl from school were about to change all of that. This weekend would turn out to be something unbelievable. Will there be dragons or will there be girls? Maybe a little of both!
Listen in to find out!
