The four pranksters decide to set up a stunt that go beyond anything they’ve done so far… But this time, who will be the victim? In our interview with the director of the movie The Fury of a Patient Man, he described the film as treasuring realism withing a genre concept, like revenge. The film’s intensity works also thanks to De La Torre, who ups the game with his performance.
After a description of his character, offering his insight on his viewpoint of the character he plays, he then says that as an actor, he tries not to look at his roles as characters. In this sense, in his work as an actor, he likes to work more as a chameleon. “Human behaviour is amazing,” he mentions. PODCAST | Nicolò Comotti interviews director Andrew Dominik, who talks about his film One More Time With Feeling from the 73rd Venice Film Festival.
ONE MORE TIME WITH FEELING. Originally a performance-based concept, One More Time With Feeling evolved into something much more significant as it delved into the tragic backdrop of the writing and recording of the album. Interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds’ filmed performance of the new album are interviews and footage shot by Dominik, accompanied by Cave’s intermittent narration and improvised rumination. The result is stark, fragile and raw and a true testament to an artist trying to find his way through the darkness.

PODCAST | Matt Micucci interviews director Bill Morrison, who talks about his new film Dawson City: Frozen Time from the 73rd Venice Film Festival.
DAWSON CITY: FROZEN TIME pieces together the bizarre true history of a collection of some 500 films dating from 1910s–1920s, lost for over 50 years until being discovered buried in a sub-arctic swimming pool deep in the Yukon Territory. Using these films, as well as interviews and reportage, fused with an enigmatic, original score by Alex Somers, the film deftly depicts the unique history of a Canadian gold rush town, by chronicling the life cycle of a singular film collection through its exile, burial, rediscovery, and salvation—and through that collection, tracing how a First Nation hunting camp was transformed and displaced.
