Wimpy and Fred sit on the porch to talk about the state of the world, and to try to find a way to build empathy and bridges between those with vastly different views.  Can we find peace before our country slips into Civil War?  Can we recognize that all people have value?  How do we bring everyone back together to work for a greater good?  Are there any values on which we can ALL agree?

In this mostly relaxing episode, you're going to hear a voice from a Dystopian future, and a voice from our not too distant past, both discussing how a world should run.  I'm The Idealist who would like to find some way to make sure we all have the basics of human survival.  It's not The Republican answer, or the Democratic, or Libertarian, or Socialist answer.  It's the Idealist's answer.  I don't think I can fix everything, but I have an idea, inspired by friends who disagree with me, that might help us.

Wimpy stops by the porch while a little kid is selling peaches.  It's a couple of guys sitting on the front porch chatting about the world.  Come and sit for a spell.

This is based on a blog post the day after I quite nearly died.  It was one of those moments during which you can't help but ask why you're still alive.  I hope it inspires you to keep living another day.  We all have days where we stare into the Abyss and it seems to beckon us, inviting us to dive in.  I hope you'll be able to resist its Siren Song.

From the first episode, I stated my Fundamental Beliefs.  This is an application of some of those beliefs.  I'm advocating for Greta, I'm discussing the idea that we need to accept the Science of Climate Change, I'm advocating Health Care for All, I'm advocating Impeachment as a Moral Imperative, and I'm responding to the people who have taken the time to respond to me.  

There is an obsession with Little Pieces of Green Paper.  I think it's absurd.  Wimpy thinks there is a logical sense to it.  

There a couple of words that may be inappropriate for children, but this is hardly shocking.  

We're going to be talking about Art, in general, and we're going to read one of my original stories.  I was a teacher for 29 years, so you can assume I'll have some questions for you.
