The revival was marked by intense emotional experiences, fervent prayer, and spontaneous outbursts of worship. While some participants believed it to be a genuine move of God, others questioned its authenticity, pointing to the emotional and sometimes chaotic nature of the meetings and the potential for manipulation or groupthink. Ultimately, the Ashbury Revival remains a subject of debate among Christians and scholars of Christian history. Is this all a hoax or is it a genuine move of the Holy Spirit.
