In part two of “The Truth About Truth,” Pastor Javon emphasizes the importance of being people of truth, drawing from scriptures like 1 Timothy 2:4 and Psalms 51:6. He stresses that an abundant life is marked by truth, which begins internally. While perfection isn’t required, God delights in those who walk in truth (Proverbs 12:22). Pastor Javon warns against barriers to truthfulness, such as justification and projection, and highlights the danger of deception, which often contains a partial truth. He encourages believers to seek truth through scripture, not external signs, and to live as examples of truth in a world filled with lies and deception, reminding that God gives revelation to move us forward, not keep us where we are.
