This morning Carl and Linda hosted Korean War Veterans Frank Rose and Dick Wilkerson for the latest updates and events. In the second hour, Carl hosted Undersheriff Gene Randall who began his law enforcement career in 1999 when he was hired by the Plumas County Sheriff's Office as a deputy sheriff and assigned to the Patrol Division. He served the residents of Plumas County for nearly four years before transferring to the Red Bluff Police Department in October 2003. In 2010, Undersheriff Randall was hired by the Shasta County Sheriff's Office, where he continues serving the citizens of our great county.

This morning on the show, Carl Bott delved into the latest happenings in local national and international news. In the second segment Carl spoke with Andy Solsvig, A.A.E. Airports Manager by The City of Redding The City of Redding has named Andy Solsvig, A.A.E., as Airports Manager for Redding Regional Airport (RDD) and Benton Field (O85). Mr. Solsvig will be responsible for the safety, planning, budgeting, staffing, property management, and operation of the City’s two airports. He began his new role in September 2024.

This morning Carl and Linda first spoke with Lindy Turner from Casa de Love Animal Rescue. Lindy began rescuing all types of animals from a very young age. Whatever stray or hurt animal she found, Lindy would always bring it home to love and care for it.

In the second hour Carl and Linda spoke with Shasta College's Pamela Neronha a Water Treatment Technology Instructor and Cody Martin a graduate of the water treatment program.

This morning Carl spoke with Steve Bade who is the Assistant City Manager. He has been with the City of Redding since 1998. He serves as the Director of Housing, as well as the Airports and Economic Development & Innovation Divisions. They discussed current news in the city of Redding and all the projects that Bade oversees.

This morning, Carl Bott opened the show with an important segment on wildfire terminology, breaking down key phrases Cal Fire uses during fire season—valuable info for staying informed and prepared. Then he dove into river adventures with Danny Orloff and Tiffany Ottonboni, co-directors of the Redding Regatta. This two-day competition brings together kayakers, paddleboarders, canoers, and crew teams at Lake Redding Park for races along the Sacramento River. Want to join in?
