Rev. Freeman discusses the mystery of attaining a peace that passes understanding by putting forth three ideals which to live by. Simplifying one’s life and focusing on one's spiritual side instead of the material side, put your compassion in action by putting yourself in the shoes of other people and realizing the common challenges human beings face and the the reward of an enriched life for helping others in need, and living a life dedicated to the cause of raising others to the dignity and justice we all deserve. Stevie Wonder was 23 the year he wrote the album Innervisions. The year was 1973 and the times were tumultuous. His song "Visions" from that album describes what some might call an overly optimistic view of a could-be world. In fact, many spiritual traditions are grounded in this same romantic vision: the children of Israel's "land of milk and honey" (featured in Stevie's "Visions"); the Book of Revelations "new world." It's something that we can all recognize and relate to as humans, this feeling that things can be better, and that hopefully, we are moving toward that vision.

Sexuality and sensuality are part of our human expression, and so should be a part of our religious expression. If you want to be passionate about your religion, it can't just be in your head, you must feel it with your whole body; in other words, a Sensual Faith.
