Sometimes it's the trials and obstacles in our path that define us more than our accomplishments and praise we receive from others. The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus and he heard God's praise after he was baptized by John the Baptist. Then he was immediately driven into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted by the Devil. The Spirit is always wanting to hew you out for something greater than you can imagine for yourself, so that you might hunger and thirst for righteousness.
