First and foremost, sorry for the delay! I know, we're the worst. But anywho, this week we had the pleasure of interviewing our friend Lydia. This episode is centered on autism, and we thought it would be useful to bring on someone who could provide some of the misconceptions around it. It is no secret that we live in an ableist society, which is why we think it is important to take a step back and reevaluate societal norms. Welcome back to this week's episode and Happy Black History Month! We wanted to take this moment to discuss the "controversy" of using the N-word. As non-black hosts we feel as though it is our role to inform our non-black audience on the effects of historical disparity and inequity among Black Lives. This week we elevate Black Scholars, podcasters, and TikTok'ers that have provided us with rich knowledge on the etymology, the stats against Black people,  Anti-Blackness, and so much more. Although I did open up with highlighting that it is Black History Month, I would like to note that we should continue to celebrate the Black community beyond February.
