Recently Davin had an experience with a client where he was demonstrating sounds that were more constricted in his body and then he made adjustments to show her sounds that were more free. Her response was "My body wants that! It's like my body knows." This got him thinking about how we all have a deep knowing of freedom, yet we have been so conditioned to ignore it. The path back often doesn't feel easy because it requires a willingness to become quite intimate with our suffering, but when we do, we always find ourselves pointed toward more clarity on what freedom really is.

There is a simple truth that if you understand might be a real game changer in your life, and it is this: The only thing any of us actually want, is a feeling. While we convince ourselves that we want things or situations or outcomes, the thing we are actually craving is a feeling and it turns out it is available to us here, right now. We simply have to cultivate awareness around it and allow it to emerge.
