"Dog the Bounty Hunter" called it "a shame" that Brian Laundrie’s mother Roberta Laundrie called 911 Saturday rather than answer his knock on the family’s front door. 

Audio emerged Monday indicating that Brian Laundrie’s parents called 911 to report the presence of Duane "Dog" Chapman on their North Port, Florida property.

So much has been going on with trying to help Eric, that I literally forgot about my own health. The next two weeks are going to be very important for me. I begin the next surgical steps in hopes of finally realizing a smile. The ability to eat again. I am also going through a private part of a continuous long journey within the oncology world. It just sounds better than using the 'C' word. 

Ironically, Jess and her brave Father's own personal journey came across my laptop at a time that was needed. 

When you focus so much time, as I have in helping someone else. You forget the importance in helping yourself. My trauma therapist also reminded of that very same importance. 

Free Yourself...My Journey

I anticipated this very moment. Just not so quickly. It was inevitable, when you have tried to help someone to the best of your ability.

Time now to refocus the present and future on myself, my fur kids. Time to now focus on my future and let go of the past. Because you can't re-write the past. Don't continue wasting valuable time.

Never be disappointed in yourself, when it comes to failed attempts at helping someone with their mental health. At the end of the day, be proud of yourself of giving freely of yourself. Wanting to help someone realize help so desperately needed. 

Sometimes our help, fails. But one thing at the end of the day that you can say is, "I tried."
