Freedom Church Gastonia - Sermon of the Week

In part 3 of “Taking The Limits Off God,'“ Pastor BJ Sullivan speaks on the importance of encounter with God. In Ephesians chapter 3, Paul teaches that once we receive salvation, trusting in the Lord & then knowing his love, which is beyond understanding, will lead us to being “filled with the fullness of God”. How can we know love that is “beyond understanding”? It points to encounter & experience.

Pastor BJ Sullivan brings a message about how to give the Holy Spirit UNLIMITED access to do exceedingly, abundantly, & beyond anything you can ask, think, or imagine. Proverbs 23:7 says, ”as a man thinks in his heart so is he”. The way we see ourselves & the way see God on a deep level can either limit his work in our lives or it can give Him unlimited access to make “rough places smooth”, “streams in the desert”, “all things work for our good & for His glory”, & more! What do you think & believe in your heart? Is it the lies of the enemy or the truth found in the Word?

Are you limiting God? The Bible says in Psalm 78 that the Children of Israel "limited God" with their wrong thinking. Pastor Brittany Price preaches the first week of this new series at FCG that's all about looking to the Word to show us how to allow God to work in an unlimited way in our lives!

Special guests Ashley & Carlie Terradez make their annual visit to FCG & Carlie preaches a powerful message about raising your expectation. Like the woman with the issue of blood who received exactly what she expected from Jesus (Healing - "If I could just touch the hem of his garment") we will also get what we expect. What are you expecting?

Pastor BJ Sullivan closes out our Salvation Celebration series with a message about what happens in the natural & supernatural when we worship & praise God & it is powerful! The Bible says we are “seated in Heavenly places with Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6) & because of that when we step into situations & moments through praise we allow Heaven’s atmosphere to invade earthly issues & we get God’s results! We begin to see His “Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven”.

Jesus said that it would be better for us to be filled with the Holy Spirit than for him to be here on earth in the flesh (John 16:7). In Salvation Celebration Part 5 Pastor BJ Sullivan preaches & teaches on 5 MORE reasons every believer has to celebrate being filled with the Holy Spirit!!

Pastor Brittany Price delivers a message centered around our relationship with God and the great joy it is to be offered real relationship with the God who created the universe! Another one of the many reasons our salvation is always worth celebrating!

Every week during this series we will be "drinking deeply from the fountain of salvation (Isaiah 12)" & celebrating the joy found in the greatest gift we've ever been given. In part 1 Pastor BJ Sullivan talks about SOZO salvation (Saved, Healed, & Delivered) & the wonderful fact that nothing can separate from the love of God.
