Today Perry and Shawna share the hope and the power of Jesus and his word that frees us from despair.  First we share the story of how Jesus transformed Muslim born Umar from a hater of Christians into a man with a passion to share the love of Jesus Christ with Muslims.   Jesus unexpectedly took Umar home in 2018 and but if he could do one more thing I think he’d say, “Take the baton from me, bring the freedom of Jesus to my Muslim people!”  Find out how you can do that through prayer!  Then Shawna shares the power of God’s word that can free us from any despair in these pressing times:  “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Rom. 12:12).  What might our watching world think if we lived this out?  Finally Perry shares his story of being freed from the dungeon of sin through a powerful encounter with Jesus and how you too can be freed whether for the first time or the 1000th time by the gospel.  Find out what it means to be freed from living life in the courtroom!  Share this if you’re encouraged by it!
