A fun and engaging conversation about our history with The Punisher and the comics. This is part 1 of a series we plan to do on one of our favourite comic book characters. We discuss the recent final issue that’s making waves as we see the “Death of the Punisher”. Spoiler alert! We do discuss what happens. A perfect ghost story neatly wrapped into 90ish minutes of ghoulish, eerie, supernatural terror. That’s the magical effect John Carpenter once again delivers in his 1980 classic “The Fog”. This is a perfect example of less is more without excessive gore, but more emphasis on eerie tones that make this a timeless movie for any true horror fan. We sadly touch on the 2005 remake also and warn why you should not waste your time and why Hollywood shouldn’t waste money trying to remake perfection. Tom Atkins gets our salute once again, as too an impressive cast and John Carpenter(has a nice cameo too) shows why, you don’t mess with the originals.

How do you even begin to describe an episode that discusses ‘The Perfect Film?’ Easy! You don’t. We just want to say that this episode is super mega rad and discussions of the exciting and excellent new “Green Lantern” comic, as well as SCARFACE!!! The best movie you’ve never seen!!! And if you have, then you are one rad Mofo. If you haven’t, that’ll change after this we promise. Yes, this movie is that good. Al Pacino. Nuff said.

We’re so pumped for this episode!!! Quite possibly one of, if not the best werewolf movie ever!!! Yep! I said it. We have a blast discussing the movie featuring some of the best SFX that’s been copied and emulated since. We also chat the new “Danny Ketch: Ghost Rider” comic from Marvel and theorise how cool a screen version would roll amongst all the usual FREEKY awesome fun.

The bloody journey that started in Crystal Lake and tip toed through Elm Street has finally reached its end here in bloodthirsty showdown. The clash of the titans that is “FREDDY VS JASON”(2003). We chat some of the political mess behind the film and the sequel that never was, but focus on the fun of this film and it’s glorious soundtrack that is RAD ASF!!! An epic end to an epic journey of the Christopher Reeve “Superman”film series, we discuss in depth the heart and soul Reeves gives to this final performance as the beloved Man of Steel, as well as bringing many of the original cast back for one last dance. Whilst sadly this film is well documented for its troubles behind the scenes, we still got a great film with a powerful and inspiring message delivered by a man that we believe was born to be Superman.

We’ve made it to the big 50!!! And what an episode we have for you! Not only do we discuss the final(for now)Elm Street film in the series, and no we shall not credit that remake we don’t dare mention, but we also chat to an absolute legend in the film industry. A fun episode and a fun third film in an excellent series. Slapstick and a movie marred in weirdness, the Man of Steel holds his own with a stellar performance from legendary comedian Richard Prior to make this a memorable and fun third Superman film.

Well, here we are at what should be a triumphant finale to the franchise, but sadly falls a little short in our opinion as we hit the 6th instalment in the Elm Street series with a movie that lacks the punch and especially the gore of previous entries. Whilst a great movie still, if this was to have been the finale, we’re glad it wasn’t. Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp making cameos add a little sparkle to what is a pretty like warm experience. But all hail Freddy! Robert Englund is a committed actor and keeps this ship sailing enough not to hit an iceberg. Let us know what you think.
