  • ep. 2x07 F*ck Covid

You know when you spend one full month at home minding your own business and then you have to leave to go to the Netherlands to finally be with your partner and SBAM - old friend C comes in the way. I mean. Seriously man? Covid aside, this week has been super busy but also you know that feeling of being in the right place? I felt it. Especially when they told me to DJ an event. YES, you read it right and NO, you cannot imagine what it is. But YEAH - Parov Stellar is in the playlist (of course).

  • ep. 2x06 okay, OMG

why am i surprised about what happened this week? i mean, i know by now that life's weird and everything always happens at the same time. you spend six months drowning in the dark and then, sbam. i kinda wanted to put a brief summary of the episode here, but it's all so intense that i cannot really find the (written) words to express what i am experiencing right now. maybe, i am still a bit afraid that everything will disappear tomorrow and i will fall again down that hole. i'll leave you to it. you can listen to it while you clean the kitchen, walk the dog, take a bath, tidy up your room or drink a glass of Primitivo.

  • ep. 2x05 friends & haters
this week i spent some time with some friends i did not see for a long time. it's always nice to see how, in the end, love and respect are at the basis of every healthy relationship. BUT, i could also experience what having my first haters felt like (spoiler: horrible). here's an unexpected reflection on both. have fun and take care!

  • ep. 2x04 nice and calm

Where did the past four weeks go?! January 2022 felt like it lasted 12 days. Probably, cause for the other 19 I have been exhausting myself with work, anxieties and unrealistic expectations. That said, this week I felt a lot calmer and (spoiler) some nice things happened. Check out the episode for aaaaall the details! And, thanks a lot for supporting this podcast and making lots of french fries happy.

  • ep. 2x03 challenges and panic attacks

hey, little french fries! WHAT - A - WEEK. lots of difficulties that led to a pretty strong panic attack on Wednesday night. But, I am alive, and that's the most important thing. Breathing again on Thursday morning felt like a huge success. be kind to yourself, please.

  • ep. 2x02 the crazy week

january 2022 seems to make fun of me... in a good way. i am back to that high school feeling of having to do everything by the end of the day or the world will explode. i am training for a new gig, preparing a super difficult interview, juggling between two other jobs, trying to be consistent on tiktok, and I still don't make enough money to leave italy. jokes aside, it has been quite a crazy week and Canada reopened visa season less than one hour before I recorded this podcast.

  • ep. 1x10 complaining french fries

in my journey through the hell of understanding who i am and what i care about, i started not feeling comfortable with the phrase "stop complaining start doing." in the ten minutes pill of today i try to put my feelings into words (very weird and messy as always) and to go over the different shades of meaning that the phrase "stop complaining start doing" implies.

  • ep. 1x9 (toxic) european soccer fries

in this first 10-minutes episode (new format!) we're gonna try to understand what the hell people who are crazy (read: c r a z y) about football (read: soccer) have going on in their minds. a few days ago, italy won in the final for the european cup against england. since then, everything seemed to be a good excuse for being racist, sexist, homophobic (of course) and in general everything related to this macho-culture we love so much (read: patriarchy, toxic masculinity, heteronormativity etc). in this episode, i will share my experience on the night of the final and some of the questions that experience raised in my head.

  • ep. 1x8 undefined french fries

let's get back to us after a little break! here's what happened in the past month (thesis, defense, kitty, girlfriend, Estonia, apartment, moving, luggage, goodbyes, future, anxiety, but it's okay). but, most of all: what does it mean to be undefined in a world that requires a well defined life-plan for everyone? what's the value of not knowing what the next step will be? are there other people feeling lost and different as i do? what do we do with all these feelings? i don't have answers but just a lot of thoughts :)
