In today’s episode I’m joined by my co-host, Matt Guddat, for the first time this season! We cover a lot of topics, but mostly focus on the unseen darker moments of relocating your life to a new town, some of the early signs of burnout, and the ego’s reluctance to admit that it will soon be forgotten. Whenever I try to still my mind and seek quiet times of meditation, the mind is pretty quick to protest and revert back to getting lost in worry and the trance of thinking about what’s next. I love the way that meditation challenges that and reminds us of the beauty and peace found in quieting the soul.
