In this Mindful Moment, Kelsee will guide you on a mindful eating exercise, to fully experience a meal. There's a surprising amount of steps and experiences in between sitting at the table and swallowing your first bite. Kelsee breaks down the process and guides you to experience food more mindfully and with curiosity. This meditation can be experienced in a variety of settings, but works best in a private space with a snack or meal that you have not begun to eat yet, and with minimal distractions - no multi-tasking.
Kelsee Keitel is an outdoor-based mental health counselor, licensed educator, and outdoor leader based in Central Indiana, where she is living out her passion of outdoor-mental-health-programming. She is also the host and producer of Switchback: An Outdoor Community Podcast.

This meditation is intended to be done in an outdoor context (front porch, back yard, park, courtyard on a work break, etc.) but the practice can be modified to be done in any context.
