This week we drink a delicious IPA from Toppling Goliath called "Pompeii" and an imperial stout from TO ØL called "What the Fudge."

  • 97. "The Sisters Brothers." Epic Brewing (Salt Lake City) // Propolis (Port Townsend, WA)
This week we catch up with Hollywood's latest introspective Western in "The Sisters Brothers." Starring Joaquin Phoenix, John C Reilly, Riz Ahmed, and Jake Gyllenhall, this film tells the tale of two bounty hunter brothers (Phoenix, Reilly) on a mission to chase down a chemist (Ahmed) who has stolen a formula from their employer, a man called The Commodore. Can a one-dimensional character portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix carry this film OR will some hidden gem performances reveal themselves like gold in a river via unexpected on-screen talent?
We drink a (accidentally far-too-old) IPA from Epic Brewing called "Spiral Jetty" and a tasty Golden Saison called "Melissa" from a brewery in Washington called Propolis.
