In these crazy times that we’re all living through, we need an escape from the confines of the “new normal”. Markus Schulz’s forthcoming album is defined by our need to ‘Escape’. It’s a journey from beginning to end and delivers exactly what we need to free our mind and soul.

Over the last several months, I’ve joined thousands of other Anjuna fans in tuning into Gabriel & Dresden’s Club Quarantine live stream on Twitch three times per week. The live stream, which has sometimes consisted of sets lasting more than 13 hours, has been a light in the darkness for many who have found solace from these crazy times in the music.

Stacking up impressive releases, Diskull has put out music on tastemaker labels like Noir Sur Blanc, Brooklyn Fire, and House of Hustle and has quickly earned his talent and trademark sound recognition. The Charlotte local has proved that his skills go beyond production and that he can rock any dance floor. Diskull runs Groovy Bone Records where he is quickly establishing his tastemaker status in the underground. Groovy Bone Records thrives on the community and the underground. I had the pleasure of speaking with Diskull about getting a track signed by Dirtybird, what it’s like to get a release to #1 on Beatport, and what goes into scoping out talent for his record label.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last 25 years, you have heard of James Estopinal, lovingly referred to as Disco Donnie. One of the true pioneers and godfathers of the festival scene today, he is the brainchild behind Disco Donnie Presents or DDP for short. I've been to numerous Disco Donnie events over the years, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to sit down and chat with him.
